The worker that was sent did an excellent job as far as the level of cleanliness was great. However, I specifically said I only needed him to do the floors but since I had paid for a certain number of hours to clean the bathrooms if he had more time but to stop after my time was up. Instead he went over my time by 30 min and the owner wanted an extra $20. I had given the guy a $20 tip, which she said was sufficient for the extra time. I don't know if had to give that money to the owner or what but it seemed like bad practice to nickel and dime a new customer after being specifically told not to go over the allotted time. Probably won't use them again based on the fact that i have a feeling their original price will always have surprise fees at the end.– Delana
Alber seemed conscientious but I never met her. My cleaning was scheduled to begin between 12-2. There was a parade so alber didn't arrive till almost 5- parking or traffic issues or whatever, albert called me and told me she would be late and asked if she could come tomorrow. I told her that Monday would be to later because I'm a have an early appointment on Monday. So she said ok, she would come. He being late I understand even though during that time instacart made a delivery at 3pm and a friend drove over for a visit at noon and left at 2. Anyhow about 10 till 5 my alber text me that she was downstairs but didn't call . Unfortunately and a bit strangely I missed the text . I had a stepped out of my unit to Dino the trash and to knock on my neighbors door. I checked my messages, saw alber had text and called her back. She told me that she's left. This is after waiting for 3-5 hours for her to Arrive. I need my place cleaned EARLY TOMORROW morning. I have guests at noon. Can you accommodate. Thank you Lisa– Lisa
I am still having issues with a decline in service quality. Today, two cleaners arrived at 11:00AM and left the house at 12:45PM (a total of 3.5 hours cleaning.) Again, they did not touch the following areas which are supposed to be cleaned weekly: - Ground floor bathroom - Ground floor mudroom/coatroom - Stairs from ground floor to main floor - Glass-paned door from stairs into main floor (gets ickly from kids’ hands and dog’s nose) - Check inside refrigerator (spot clean shelves and/or vegetable bin, when needed) They also did not address any of the items which should be cleaned monthly (to keep weekly cleaning time consistent, Margaret usually picks off 1-2 of these each week): - Door handle and wall switch areas - Kids’ hand marks on stairwells Since I was home today, I actually chased the cleaners out to the street and asked them to come back in and clean the ground floor bathroom/coatroom. They came in for about 20 minutes (round it up to 45 for the team of two), so now the service is up to 4.25 hours of cleaning out of the 5.00 that I pay for.– Christine
I have used this cleaning service before and usually they do a great job, but this time they failed to deliver on some key details: There's a dead fly on the floor close to the wall in a very high use common space (I know it was there before the cleaning), the stove was cleaned pretty superficially. Also, I paid extra for fridge cleaning, but no cleaning was done (big spots of spilled liquids in the fridge) and the fridge smells still.– Ana
Two people from Evergreen worked for approximately an hour. They were both very nice, but not as thorough as I had hoped. I pointed out a few areas that they missed and they offered to fix it by cleaning the specific spots quickly. I've been looking for a service to come monthly and I'd say their service is average. The apartment is cleaner, but I'll have to go and really deep clean some things they missed (blinds, a mirror, some shelving.)– Brandi
The worker came in and did a very good job - she was fast and furiously cleaning. However, I had booked an oven cleaning - I know that my cleaning service was switched from a different one to Mause the day before - the owner said he wouldn't be able to do the oven because he didn't have the proper cleaning tools that day, so he wouldn't be able to do the oven. I didn't want to argue with him, but honestly I feel like I should be compensated for at least an hour of work. I had booked 4:45 of service, but she stayed only about 3:30.– Matthew
I had a mixed experience. We were cancelled on less than than 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment. After expressing my displeasure, and got a set of confusing messages indicating a message from one person saying that we would have to reschedule for another day and simultaneous contact from a different person saying that they were on their way to do the cleaning. Someone finally arrived 2 hours later to do the cleaning, and was very professional and did a good job, but the lateness and confusing messages overall created an inconsistent experience.– Meryl
